Vietnam 'dominates' awards at ASEAN Cup 2024

At the award ceremony, the ASEAN Cup 2024 organizing committee presented subsidiary awards to individuals with the most outstanding performances of the tournament. And there were no surprises when all three individual titles were awarded to Coach Kim Sang Sik's students.

Specifically, the title of 'Best Goalkeeper of the tournament' was awarded to Nguyen Dinh Trieu - who made great contributions to the journey to the top of Southeast Asia of the Vietnamese team in this tournament.

In addition, striker Nguyen Xuan Son was honored with two awards 'Top scorer' of ASEAN Cup 2024 and 'Best player of the tournament'. Unfortunately, in the second leg of the final, Xuan Son was unfortunately injured and had to leave the field early in the first half.
