The Ministry of Health stated that the patient...Patient 93 (BN93): A 20-year-old male, Vietnamese national, residing in Dong Da District, Hanoi. The patient is a student studying in Hungary, who entered Vietnam through Noi Bai Airport on March 18, 2020. The screening test results from the Hanoi Center for Disease Control and Prevention were positive on March 20, 2020.

On March 19, 2020, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control sent a sample to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 20, 2020. This afternoon, the test results confirmed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.
The patient is currently isolated and receiving treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and their health condition is stable.
Case 94 (Patient 94): A 64-year-old female patient, Vietnamese national, residing in Bac Giang city. The patient visited her daughter in the Czech Republic from February 29, 2020 to March 17, 2020.
The patient returned to Vietnam, entering the country through Noi Bai Airport on March 18, 2020, on the same flight (SU290, seat 28A) as Patient 93, who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (SU290, seat 27B).
The screening test results from the Hanoi Center for Disease Control and Prevention recorded the patient as positive for SARS-CoV-2 on March 20, 2020.
The Hanoi Center for Disease Control collected and sent samples to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 20, 2020; today, the test results confirmed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.
