Vietnam has 2 more Covid-19 cases, the 93rd and 94th

The Ministry of Health has just announced that Vietnam has recorded two more Covid-19 cases, the 93rd and 94th.

The Ministry of Health said that the case93 (BN93): Male patient, 20 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Dong Da, Hanoi. The patient is a student studying abroad in Hungary, entering the country via Noi Bai airport on March 18, 2020. The screening test result of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control recorded positive on March 20, 2020.

On March 19, 2020, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control sent the sample dated March 20, 2020 to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. This afternoon, the test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and is in stable health condition.

Case 94 (BN94): Female patient, 64 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Bac Giang city. Patient went to the Czech Republic to visit her daughter from February 29, 2020 to March 17, 2020.

The patient returned to Vietnam via Noi Bai airport on March 18, 2020 on the same flight (SU290, seat 28A) as patient 93 who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus (SU290, seat 27B).

Screening test results of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control recorded a patient positive for SARS-CoV-2 on March 20, 2020.

The Hanoi Center for Disease Control collected samples and sent them to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 20, 2020; today the test results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and is in stable health condition./.
