Vietnam and Laos discuss anti-corruption work

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, on behalf of the delegation of high-ranking officials of Vietnam, comrade Nguyen Quoc Hiep emphasized that inspection, examination and anti-corruption work is an important task.

The main goal of inspection and examination activities is to detect violations and shortcomings, and at the same time point out the advantages that need to be promoted. The most important thing of this work is to gradually perfect the legal mechanism to exercise the power of the Party and the State.

However, he also noted that in practice, inspection and examination activities still reveal some shortcomings, and it is necessary to study ways to overcome them so that this work becomes more and more effective.

In the spirit of frankness, sincerity and openness, delegates from Vietnam and Laos together found advantages and proposed the most flexible and effective methods and measures to apply to inspection and examination work in each country.
