Capital and outstanding credit reached over 8,700 billion VND, an increase of nearly 900 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year.

Import and export payment and trade finance activities have been enhanced, with guarantee sales reaching VND 700 billion and international payment sales exceeding USD 89 million. The payment transaction system has been modernized, improving transaction processing speed and ensuring security and safety for customers; products and services are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

And the most accurate measure of effectiveness is the continuously increasing number of partners and customers who have relationships and transactions with Vietinbank's Vinh City branch. The number of customers with regular transactions includes over 2,800 loan customers, 51,500 deposit customers, 30,600 customers using electronic banking services, and many customers using eFast services, international credit cards, etc.

In 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic broke out globally, Vietinbank's Vinh City branch consistently supported its loan customers in overcoming the difficulties of the pandemic. By the end of 2020, the branch had disbursed loans to 150 customers facing difficulties due to the pandemic, with new disbursements exceeding 2,000 billion VND; and implemented...debt restructuringMaintaining the same debt classification for customers with a restructured amount of over 60 billion VND; allocating 4 billion VND from reduced profits to support interest rates and reduce customer service fees.

In parallel with credit activities, Vietinbank's Vinh City branch also provides products such as guarantees, capital supply commitments, trade finance, international payments, etc., to meet the maximum needs of customers participating in bidding, construction projects, and domestic and international payments.

In addition, the branch always pays attention to gratitude and social welfare activities. In 2020, it sponsored the construction of two schools in Ky Son district with 2.4 billion VND, and supported the Tet for the Poor program, caring for war invalids, orphans, and disabled children with 660 million VND.
