Vinamilk has been voted by Forbes in the top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam for 6 consecutive years.
(Baonghean) - At the ceremony to honor "50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2018" voted by Forbes Vietnam which took place at the end of July, Vinamilk continued to be named. This is also the 6th year Vinamilk has entered the top 50 with revenue reaching 51,041 billion VND and capitalization reaching 255,419 billion VND.
The list of “Top 50 best listed companies” ranked by Forbes Vietnam is a list of companies with the best business performance through published financial indicators, including companies listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HSX) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
To compile this list, Forbes Vietnam uses the Forbes (US) company ranking method, taking into account the characteristics of listed companies in Vietnam. The data used for evaluation is based on audited financial statements of 5 consecutive years from 2013 to 2017 (in the case of companies with fiscal years ending in the middle of the year, Forbes Vietnam uses data from the most recent fiscal year).
In the quantitative calculation round, companies are scored according to the following criteria: compound growth rate of revenue, profit, ROE, ROC and EPS growth in the period 2013 - 2017. The quantitative calculation part according to Forbes' method is supported by Ban Viet Securities Company (VCSC). Next, in the qualitative round, Forbes Vietnam independently considers the level of sustainable development of the enterprise: brand, quality of corporate governance, source of past profits and prospects for sustainable development.

Vietnam's No. 1 dairy company in terms of revenue currently owns 10 farms with a total herd of dairy cows (owned and affiliated farms) of about 120,000, and purchases about 800 tons of raw fresh milk every day. Since the beginning of 2018, Vinamilk has had a number of notable activities such as strategic cooperation to research functional food products with Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, inaugurating the Vinamilk High-Tech dairy complex in Thanh Hoa and most recently officially producing A2 milk - one of the newest technologies in the dairy industry and has only appeared in developed markets such as Australia, New Zealand, the US,... since the early 2000s.

With export revenue reaching about 200 million USD in 2017, Vinamilk ranked 16th in terms of high export revenue out of 225 enterprises in the list of "Prestigious Export Enterprises" in 2017 announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and was also the only dairy enterprise voted.
These are solid steps in Vinamilk's development strategy, maintaining its position as the number 1 dairy company in Vietnam, always pioneering in creating new products, meeting health care needs and creating new living values for the community.
