Established in 1961 in Brussels, Belgium, Monde Selection is considered a prestigious award, representing the highest industry standards in Europe and the world, a coveted prize for leading manufacturers. The award recognizes products based not only on external sensory criteria such as color, texture, and flavor, but also on internal quality from a chemical and microbiological perspective. To provide such highly professional assessments, the Monde Selection judging panel includes not only leading culinary experts such as Michelin-starred chefs and taste testers, but also doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists, chemical engineers, food science specialists, and biotechnology experts.
Each year, approximately 3,000 brands from over 90 countries worldwide are submitted to the Monde Selection International Institute for quality assessment. Each product is individually evaluated by a panel of judges based on up to 25 criteria, ranging from attractiveness/eye-catching design, information and packaging, taste, aftertaste, to product safety and transparency. The criteria are assessed independently by the panel, and an average score is calculated to produce the final result.
With impressively high scores of 80-90%, in its very first year of participation, Vinamilk was honored with the Gold award at this prestigious competition with two products: Vinamilk Super Nut 9-Nut Milk and Vinamilk Green Farm Fresh Milk.
