Vinamilk, the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company, personally delivered 500 cartons of milk and nearly 400 gift packages, including backpacks, notebooks, pens, and school supplies, to residents and students in four mountainous communes of Nghe An province.

Tuong Duong, Luong Minh, My Ly, and Nhon Mai are four communes severely affected by the historic floods following Typhoon No. 3. More than 400 houses were completely swept away, causing heavy damage to the locality and its people. The typhoon left behind flash floods and landslides that disrupted transportation, damaged houses, swept away much property, and seriously affected the lives of the people.

Vinamilk's relief team arrived promptly, bringing 500 cartons of milk and nearly 400 gift packages including backpacks, notebooks, pens, and school supplies to the people and students in the flood-affected areas. These were not just material gifts, but also the genuine care and affection from thousands of Vinamilk employees.

After the devastating floods, the roads leading to the mountainous communes of Tuong Duong, Luong Minh, My Ly, and Nhon Mai became extremely difficult to navigate. The sun blazed down, with temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius, but the working group persevered, traversing landslide-prone areas, muddy terrain, and jagged rocks.

Even two weeks after the storm, scenes of devastation remain everywhere. People are still struggling to recover from the floods, facing countless hardships and shortages. Numerous landslides have brought vehicles to a standstill, and goods have to be transported by hand along difficult road sections.

Amidst all the hardships, the grimy faces and bewildered eyes of those who had been distraught by the floods suddenly lit up with joy when the delegation brought gifts from Vinamilk, especially gifts specifically for the children.

In the children's eyes, there was not only joy at receiving gifts, but also hope – hope for a better new school year, despite the storm that had turned everything upside down. It was a moment that made all the hardships of the long journey seem lighter, because faith and love were still present, after the stormy days.

Moc Chau Milk (a subsidiary of Vinamilk) provided emergency assistance to flood victims in Son La province with a total value of up to 127 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Dao - Director of Nghe An Dairy Factory ( thuộc Vinamilk) shared:"Only by going there and witnessing the damage firsthand can you truly understand the devastating power of natural disasters and the suffering of the people in the flooded areas. Although the two days of the program were very arduous, involving traveling hundreds of kilometers through the forest, seeing the joy of the people after receiving support and encouragement from the delegation made the trip very meaningful.""

Recently, Moc Chau Milk (a subsidiary of Vinamilk) also carried out emergency support activities for flood victims in Son La province, donating 200 cartons of milk along with over 50 million VND in cash contributed by the company's employees, bringing the total value of the support to 127 million VND.
