VinFast Evo with swapped battery: Range of 165 km, price starting from 19.99 million VND.
VinFast's first electric motorcycle model, which supports fast battery swapping at stations, boasts an elegant design, IP67 water resistance, and offers free battery swapping until 2028.
The VinFast Evo with interchangeable batteries is expected to launch in early 2026, marking a new step forward for the Vietnamese automaker in optimizing the electric motorcycle user experience. This is the first model in the VinFast ecosystem that allows users to replace batteries at charging stations in just a few minutes, eliminating the charging time barrier that has been an inherent weakness of older generation electric vehicles.
Battery swapping technology and operating performance
The core difference of the VinFast Evo lies in its dual battery system located under the trunk. Users can flexibly install one or two batteries depending on their actual travel needs. The vehicle uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, a type of battery known for its high durability and safety, minimizing the risk of fire and explosion.

Each battery has a capacity of 1.5 kWh, providing a driving range of approximately 85 km under standard conditions. When equipped with two batteries, the total range of the vehicle reaches 165 km per charge. The easily removable battery allows users to quickly swap batteries at charging stations, offering convenience comparable to refueling with gasoline.

Elegant design and modern amenities.
The 2026 VinFast Evo continues to maintain a minimalist design language with soft, curved lines, appealing to the tastes of most Vietnamese consumers. The vehicle's lighting system is entirely LED, with projector headlights to optimize visibility when driving at night.
The vehicle's overall dimensions are 1856 x 683 x 1133 mm, providing a comfortable seating position and ample legroom. Additionally, it features a fully digital instrument cluster that can connect to smartphones via an app. This feature allows drivers to easily locate the vehicle, check battery status, and diagnose technical issues remotely.

In terms of performance, the vehicle uses an Inhub motor with a nominal power of 1,500 W, allowing for a top speed of 70 km/h. Notably, the motor meets the IP67 waterproof standard, enabling the vehicle to operate stably even when passing through areas submerged in water up to 0.5 m deep for up to 30 minutes.
