VinFast officially introduces the VF Connect software service with AI-powered virtual assistant and remote vehicle management features for electric vehicle models from VF 6 to VF 9.
VinFast has officially announced its smart software service ecosystem called VF Connect. This is a strategic move to optimize the user experience through modern technological features such as an AI-integrated virtual assistant, remote vehicle management, and a multimedia entertainment system that is appearing for the first time on the company's electric vehicles.
Four service packages to meet diverse user needs.
The VF Connect ecosystem is divided into four tiers: Basic, Pro, Premium, and Prime. This structure allows customers to flexibly choose according to their actual usage needs and financial capabilities.
In which, the packageBasicThe first package is offered free for life, focusing on essential operational features such as navigation maps, in-car alerts, and driver profile management. The remaining three packages are paid options, unlocking the full technological potential of VinFast electric vehicles.
Technological highlight: AI creates and manages vehicles remotely.
The VinFast 3.0 virtual assistant is a core component of the paid packages. Thanks to its AI-generated integration, this tool not only performs simple control commands but also has the ability to communicate naturally, understand context, and personalize according to the owner's habits. Users can even customize the virtual assistant's voice to their liking.
In addition, the Remote Control and Theft Alert features allow owners to monitor charging status, activate the air conditioning early, or receive security alerts directly on their smartphones. Notably, from April 1st, 2026, these two features will become exclusive privileges for customers who subscribe to the paid VF Connect packages.

VinFast applies a flexible pricing policy based on usage time to make it more accessible to consumers:

PackageVF Connect PrimeThe most premium option will include an additional 1 GB of mobile data per day, allowing the vehicle to create a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices and ensuring uninterrupted internet connectivity for entertainment apps like YouTube or Spotify.
Deployment roadmap and update method
VF Connect will be available for VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models starting with specific software versions:
- VF 6:Version 6A.1.16.0
- VF 7:Version 7A.1.17.0
- VF 8:Versions 8A.1.13.0 and 8B.1.13.0
- VF 9:Version 9A.5.12.0
For vehicles that have not yet reached the minimum Baseline software version, owners need to bring their vehicles to a service center for the first upgrade. Once the Baseline threshold is reached, subsequent updates will be performed automatically via FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) protocol without needing to visit a dealership.
