The VinFast VF 6 maintains its price of 689 million VND in January 2026, directly benefiting from the policy of 100% exemption from registration fees and battery charging support until the end of 2027.
The VinFast VF 6 is currently the flagship all-electric SUV in the B-segment, directly competing with internal combustion engine models such as the Hyundai Creta, KIA Seltos, and Toyota Corolla Cross. Launched in the Vietnamese market in late 2023, the VF 6 quickly established its position thanks to the combination of design from renowned studios and the superior performance of its electric motor.

Entering 2026, the listed price of the VinFast VF 6 remains stable for both the Eco and Plus versions. Notably, thanks to Decree 51/2025/ND-CP, customers purchasing battery-powered electric vehicles will continue to be exempt from all registration fees until February 28, 2027, significantly reducing the actual on-the-road cost.

In addition to tax incentives, VinFast has also made significant adjustments to its service policies. From March 1, 2025, the company officially discontinued its battery leasing policy. Instead, customers who own vehicles with batteries will receive an extended period of free battery charging at public charging stations for an additional six months, until December 31, 2027.

The VinFast VF 6 is the result of a collaboration between VinFast and two leading global design studios, Pininfarina and Torino Design. The car boasts soft, rounded lines while retaining the powerful characteristics of a modern SUV.
The front of the car is impressive with its V-shaped LED daytime running lights encompassing the logo. The LED headlights are positioned low to optimize visibility. The body is highlighted by two-tone, five-spoke alloy wheels, up to 19 inches in size on the Plus version. At the rear, the elongated LED taillights are similar in design to the front, creating a cohesive look when driving at night.

The VF 6's cabin is designed in a minimalist style, focusing on the driver's experience. The dashboard no longer features a traditional instrument cluster, but instead a 12.9-inch central infotainment screen angled towards the driver, integrating comprehensive operating information or displaying it via a head-up display (HUD).
Thanks to the nature of electric vehicles, which don't occupy much mechanical space, the VF 6 boasts a wheelbase of up to 2,730 mm, providing the most spacious second-row legroom in its segment. The seats are upholstered in premium leather and include armrests for both rows, ensuring comfort on long journeys.
Technical specifications and operational performance
VinFast equips the VF 6 with an electric motor on the front axle with two power levels depending on the version. The car uses a 59.6 kWh Lithium-ion battery manufactured by VinES, supporting fast charging technology that allows charging from 10% to 70% in about 24 minutes.

Safety is a strong point of the VF 6, with the Plus version equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Notable features include adaptive cruise control (ACC), emergency lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, and automatic parking assist.
In addition, standard safety technologies such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), traction control system (TCS), and 360-degree camera are all present, giving drivers more confidence in all traffic conditions.
