VinFast VF 7 2026: The appeal of performance and cost-effective ownership policies.
The VinFast VF 7 asserts its position in the C-SUV segment thanks to its powerful performance, advanced ADAS technology, and groundbreaking financial incentives for consumers.
Amidst the vibrant automotive market at the beginning of 2026, the VinFast VF 7 is becoming a noteworthy name in the C-SUV segment. This model attracts users not only with its design but also with its combination of performance comparable to luxury cars, a comprehensive technological system, and long-term economic benefits.
Outstanding performance for the price.
With a list price starting from 789 million VND for the Eco version and 949 million VND for the Plus version, the VinFast VF 7 boasts impressive technical specifications. Specifically, the Plus version is equipped with all-wheel drive, delivering a maximum power of up to 349 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. These figures are typically only found on high-performance luxury gasoline-powered vehicles with significantly higher price tags.
Even in its standard Eco version, the 174-horsepower engine is considered more powerful than the average gasoline-powered SUV in the same segment. This gives the Vietnamese-branded electric vehicle a significant advantage in terms of driving feel and acceleration.

In addition to its powerful engine, the VF 7 also scores points thanks to its comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Notable features include automatic lane change assist, traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed control, door open warning, and adaptive cruise control (ACC) Stop & Go.

Financial solutions and optimized operating costs.
To increase accessibility for customers, VinFast is implementing a "Buy a Car for 0 VND" policy. Accordingly, customers purchasing a car in 2026 can receive a guaranteed purchase without requiring down payment, with a fixed interest rate of 7% per year for the first three years. Alternatively, buyers can choose a direct 6% discount on the selling price instead of the interest rate offer. Combined with the policy of waiving registration fees for electric vehicles until the end of February 2027, car owners can save between 120-170 million VND in total on-the-road costs.

In terms of running costs, electric vehicles show a clear advantage over traditional gasoline-powered cars. Many owners report saving significantly on monthly fuel costs thanks to the free battery charging policy at V-Green public charging stations. This policy has just been extended until February 10, 2029, for new customers (up to 10 times per month), while existing customers continue to enjoy the same benefit for three years from the date of purchase.
Furthermore, the design of electric vehicles significantly reduces routine maintenance costs because there's no need to change engine oil, oil filters, or other complex components of an internal combustion engine. A 10-year or 200,000 km warranty on both the vehicle and battery, along with after-sales services such as mobile repair and 24/7 roadside assistance, provides users with greater peace of mind during long-term use.
