The new generation VinFast VF 8: Appealing technology and a price of 850 million VND.
The new generation VinFast VF 8 has seen a significant increase in pre-orders thanks to its actual on-the-road price starting from 850 million VND and premium features such as the FSD suspension system and ITM thermal management.
The electric vehicle market in Vietnam is experiencing dynamic developments, with the new generation VinFast VF 8 at the center. During the "8 Golden Days" period from May 27th to June 3rd, the number of customers completing deposit procedures increased sharply at showrooms to take advantage of preferential prices and valuable technology upgrade packages.
Pricing and incentive policies during the pioneering phase
Although the listed price of the new generation VinFast VF 8 is announced at 999 million VND, the actual on-the-road cost currently only fluctuates around 850 million VND. This is the result of combining the support policies that VinFast has specifically offered to pioneering customers who place early deposits.
Specifically, customers will receive a direct discount of 51 million VND on the selling price, along with a 10% discount on the vehicle price under the "Intense for a Green Future" program. In addition, buyers have the option of installment payments with a fixed interest rate of 5% for the first three years, helping to alleviate initial financial pressure. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phong, a member of the electric vehicle community, shared that placing a deposit early is the optimal solution to secure the best price benefits.

A technological breakthrough with the FSD suspension system.
Besides its cost advantage, the core factor that helps the new generation VinFast VF 8 win over users lies in its superior technological content. Most notably, it features an integrated suspension system with adaptive damping (FSD - Frequency Selective Damping), a feature usually only found on luxury cars or vehicles with significantly higher price tags.
The FSD system is controlled by specialized software, allowing for automatic adjustment of shock absorber stiffness based on actual operating conditions. This helps the vehicle maintain a smooth ride at low speeds in urban areas and ensures stability and firmness at high speeds. Expert Trinh Le Hung considers this a bold move by the Vietnamese automaker in bringing advanced technology to the mainstream vehicle segment.

Optimizing operational performance and thermal management.
The new generation VinFast VF 8 is developed on a completely new chassis and electrical-electronic architecture, controlled by a CVC central computer. A highly practical improvement is the Integrated Thermal Management (ITM) system. This technology plays a key role in optimizing battery performance, increasing driving range and shortening charging time.
In terms of performance, the car boasts an engine power of 228 horsepower. While this figure may seem more modest than previous versions, thanks to optimized body weight, its real-world performance remains very impressive. The car retains the instantaneous responsiveness of an electric motor, suitable for both daily commuting and long-distance journeys.

With its combination of cutting-edge technology, practical performance, and accessible ownership policies, the new generation VinFast VF 8 is putting significant pressure on competitors in the same segment. The special promotional period will end in early June, marking a new milestone in the Vietnamese automaker's electric vehicle expansion plan in the domestic market.
