VinFast Viper 2026: Sporty electric motorbike priced from 34.7 million VND.

The VinFast Viper is a new generation electric scooter from the 2026 product line, targeting customers seeking a sporty and technologically advanced mode of transportation. In the latest promotional program, this model is receiving a combined discount of up to 13%, including: a direct 6% price reduction, 100% support for registration fees (equivalent to 2% of the vehicle price), and an additional 5% discount for customers switching from gasoline-powered to electric scooters.

Battery pricing and ownership options

Thanks to promotional programs, the actual selling price of the VinFast Viper is currently only from 34.7 million VND. This price is close to that of popular gasoline-powered scooters, making it easier for consumers to access green transportation. Currently, the manufacturer offers two ownership options: purchasing the scooter with a battery for 45.5 million VND or purchasing the scooter without a battery for 39.9 million VND.

With the option of not including batteries, customers can choose a flexible battery rental package at a cost of VND 175,000/battery/month or VND 300,000/2 batteries/month. This policy helps optimize initial investment costs and ensures battery quality throughout the usage period.

LFP battery performance and technology

The VinFast Viper is equipped with an electric motor with a nominal power of 1,800W mounted on the rear wheel, capable of reaching a maximum power of up to 3,000W. The vehicle has a stated top speed of 70 km/h, however, in reality, it can reach 76 km/h at idle. Its ability to accelerate from 0–50 km/h in 5 seconds makes it highly maneuverable in urban environments.

The vehicle uses an LFP battery system with a capacity of 1.5 kWh per battery. Users can choose to install one or two batteries to extend the driving range. With one battery, the vehicle can travel approximately 82 km, and this increases to 156 km with two batteries (under standard conditions). Notably, VinFast is implementing a program offering 20 free battery replacements per month for the Viper model, lasting until June 2028, helping users significantly save on operating costs.

Optimized design for a realistic experience.

In terms of appearance, the VinFast Viper boasts strong, sharp lines. The scooter has overall dimensions of 1,907 x 692 x 1,135 mm, a seat height of 780 mm, and a ground clearance of 138 mm. Weighing 98 kg (including a battery), the Viper is significantly lighter than many gasoline-powered sports scooters, making it easy to maneuver and handle in tight spaces.

The vehicle offers two driving modes: ECO, prioritizing distance, and SPORT, optimizing power. Safety features include disc brakes, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, and dual spring rear suspension with oil reservoir, ensuring stability when traveling on various terrains.

As a premium model, the VinFast Viper integrates a smart key with GPS tracking and remote trunk locking. The full TFT instrument panel displays operating parameters clearly. The under-seat storage space is 16 liters, which can be reduced to 10 liters with the addition of an extra battery.

Notably, the vehicle meets the IP67 waterproof standard, allowing it to operate stably at a depth of 0.5m for 30 minutes. This is an important feature that gives users peace of mind when traveling in heavy rain or flooded roads in Vietnam.
