Wife left for China, son-in-law came over to argue and then killed mother-in-law
During the argument, Giang Seo Min slashed to death Mrs. Giang Thi X. (Min's mother-in-law) then went home to sleep and was arrested by the police.
Information from Lao Cai Provincial Police said that on the morning of November 9, Bao Yen District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department to arrest Giang Seo Min for murder.
At the police station, Min confessed that he was upset that his wife had left for China and not returned for many years, so he had a conflict with his wife's family.
On the evening of November 8, Min went to his mother-in-law's house in Phong Nien commune, Bao Thang district and continued to argue. In a fit of anger, Min took a machete and slashed Mrs. X. and her son Ly Deo D. (born in 2005). As a result, Mrs. X. died on the spot, and D. was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room.

After committing the crime, Min fled the scene. At dawn on November 9, the police deployed forces and arrested Giang Seo Min while he was sleeping at home.
Chairman of Phong Nien Commune People's Committee - Ngo Van Phuc said this morning that in the locality, Min is a person without a stable job, has a bad personal history, has been involved in petty theft many times and has been punished by local police.
