We deeply mourn the passing of our beloved General Secretary!

In recent years, despite his failing health, as the highest leader of the Party, he dedicated his spirit, responsibility, and revolutionary enthusiasm to his work until his last breath, with only one aspiration: that our Party be truly clean and strong; that our country become increasingly prosperous and developed, able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers, as President Ho Chi Minh always wished; and that our people live in comfort and happiness in every home.

Born into a poor farming family, with a strong will to overcome all difficulties and following the sacred call of the Fatherland, he became a Party member at the age of 23. Having held many positions, no matter what he did or where he worked, he always lived and worked wholeheartedly, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party organization, agency, and unit, and the respect and admiration of his comrades and colleagues.

In particular, during nearly three terms as General Secretary, he made extremely important contributions, together with the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, leading the entire Party to help our people overcome countless difficulties and challenges, continuing on the path of successful reform in many fields, from socio-economic development to Party building and the political system, national defense, security, and foreign affairs, so that the country has the foundation, potential, position, and international prestige it has today.

Not only is General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong a leader with a compassionate heart and a broad vision, but he is also an outstanding scientific researcher with superior thinking, making significant contributions to the theoretical treasury of our Party, strongly affirming the superiority of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam. These contributions are an inspiring message and firmly strengthen the faith of the entire Party and people to continue following the chosen path; they are valuable documents for international friends to study, refer to, and apply in the process of national development, contributing to development for the common progress of humanity.

Remembering General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, our people recall the image of an exemplary leader, whose words matched his actions, who acted decisively and systematically, striving for the best, but also showing no tolerance or leniency towards wrongdoing, especially the decline in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and the manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation." The results of the Party building and rectification work, and the fight against corruption and negative phenomena in recent years have left a deep mark, forming the basis of trust and strengthening the unity and solidarity within the entire Party and political system, to gradually build our Party into a truly worthy leader and loyal servant of the people; and our State into a State of the people, by the people, and for the people. These results are closely linked to the name and significant contributions of our beloved General Secretary.

In foreign affairs, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has left many imprints, especially in elevating relations to strategic partnerships and comprehensive strategic partnerships with several countries, based on the principles of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation, and mutual development; Vietnam is a friend, a reliable partner, and an active and responsible member of the international community. This is the basis for the country to proactively and actively integrate into the international community more deeply and broadly, in line with the development trends of the times, combining the strength of the nation with the strength of the times in building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Remembering and cherishing Comrade General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong means our people remember a model cadre, intelligent, courageous, dedicated, honest, simple, close to the people, and understanding of the people; it means remembering a cadre who made immense and exceptionally outstanding contributions to the country. Therefore, along with the noble awards bestowed by our Party and State, the General Secretary also has another noble reward: his image will forever be etched in the hearts of the people.

Birth, aging, sickness, and death are the impermanent laws of life, which no one can escape. But the passing of our comrade has left the entire Party and the entire nation with immeasurable sorrow, as if the loss of a loved one were a tragedy in any family. Time will pass, and life ahead holds countless difficulties and challenges. But we believe that along that path, the comrade's contributions and his beloved image will always be a driving force, a source of encouragement, and inspiration for us to move forward steadfastly.

More than ever, let us translate our noble sentiments for Comrade General Secretary into concrete actions. The entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army must have absolute faith in the Party's leadership. Let us become even more united, working together with one heart and mind, striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continuing to do well what the General Secretary and the entire Party are doing, striving to excellently fulfill the set goals and tasks, and preparing and organizing the Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
