Nole's greatness was further amplified by his near-absolute dominance in 2015.

By defeating Andy Murray 6-2, 6-4 in the 2015 Paris Masters final, world number one Serbian tennis player Djokovic became the first player to win the Masters 1000 tournament held in the French capital four times, following his first victory in 2009. The three previous Paris Masters winners were Boris Becker, Djokovic's current coach, and former player Marat Safin.

But Djokovic's greatness doesn't end there. In fact, Nole won six Masters 1000 titles in 2015, a feat no other player has ever achieved in history.

Djokovic is unrivaled at the moment.

Currently, with 26 Masters 1000 titles in his career, Djokovic is only one title short of Nadal's record. Given his current high level of performance, it's likely only a matter of time before Nole surpasses Rafa to become the player with the most Masters 1000 titles in history.

Furthermore, the victory over Murray in the Paris Masters final extended Djokovic's winning streak to 22 consecutive matches. Nole's head-to-head record against top 10 players since the beginning of the year is also extremely impressive, with 27 wins and only 4 losses.

Finally, Nole set another record: becoming the first player in the Open Era to reach the finals of tournaments 14 times in a row (winning 10 titles in 2015).

In a post-match interview, Djokovic said: “It was a bit difficult because Murray played well in the second set, so the match could have gone to a third set like it did against Wawrinka. However, I played with focus and did my job well. It was a great week and came at the right time. I hope to continue this form at the ATP World Tour Finals.”

As for Murray, despite the loss, the British number one wasn't upset: "A fun week at a beautiful stadium. Congratulations to Novak, it's been a fantastic year for him. I've improved a lot to get past the quarterfinals here for the first time and I hope to play even better next year."
