Le Thinh (born in 1982) is currently studying martial arts at the Vo Lam Tan Khanh - Hong Hac school, part of the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Martial Arts Association. Thinh has been studying at this school since 2004 and has completed 17 out of 18 levels. During his summer break, this martial arts student returned to his hometown of Nam Xuan, Nam Dan, and noticed that the children there were "wasting" their precious summer vacation. The idea of teaching martial arts to the children suddenly came to him, and the first class was opened at Vinh Phuc Pagoda in Nam Xuan commune, Nam Dan district.
After more than a month since its establishment, the class now has over 50 martial arts students. The students are mainly children from rural areas in Nam Xuan commune who are currently students, but many others from neighboring communes such as Xuan Hoa, Nam Linh, and Hung Tien have also applied to study.

Nguyen Thi An, a student at Xuan Hoa Primary School, shared: “During the summer break, I just stayed home playing. But after learning about the free martial arts class opened by Mr. Le Thinh here, I asked my mother for permission for my younger brother (Nguyen Bao Binh, 9 years old) and me to join. I find learning here very fun and it helps me improve my health!”
Le Thinh will impart all the knowledge of traditional martial arts – ancient martial arts – with 18 different levels. Currently, the class maintains a stable schedule on Saturday and Sunday afternoons every week and will continue long-term if students wish.

In addition to this free martial arts class, Le Thinh has also opened more martial arts classes in many communes such as Nam Anh, Nam Linh, Nam Thanh… and has received support from parents and students alike.
Sharing his enthusiasm for this martial arts class, the student said: "I have also requested permission from the Nam Dan District Department of Culture to continue opening similar free classes in other communes to create a healthy playground for the children. Coming to this martial arts class, the children not only learn martial arts and improve their health but also have the opportunity to pursue their passion for this traditional martial art."
