8X martial arts student opens free martial arts class for rural children
(Baonghean.vn) - With the desire to create a physical training environment and a healthy playground for rural children, free martial arts classes of "teacher" (also a martial arts student) Le Thinh have been opened in some localities of Nam Dan district and received the response of the people.

Le Thinh (born in 1982) is currently studying martial arts at the Vo Lam Tan Khanh - Hong Hac sect, under the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Martial Arts Association. Thinh has been studying this martial art since 2004, and has now completed 17/18 levels. During the summer break, this 8X martial artist returned to his hometown of Nam Xuan, Nam Dan and realized that the children in his hometown were "wasting" their interesting summer. The idea of teaching martial arts to the children suddenly came to mind and the first class was opened at Vinh Phuc Pagoda, Nam Xuan Commune, Nam Dan District.
After more than 1 month of establishment, the class now has over 50 students. The students are mainly rural children in Nam Xuan commune, in addition, many children from neighboring communes such as Xuan Hoa, Nam Linh, Hung Tien have also come to apply to study.

Nguyen Thi An, a student at Xuan Hoa Primary School, shared: “During the summer break, I just stayed home to play. But after learning about the free martial arts class opened by Mr. Le Thinh here, I asked my mother for permission to let me and my younger brother (Nguyen Bao Binh, 9 years old) come and study. I find studying here very fun and I get to exercise too!”
Le Thinh will convey all the knowledge about traditional martial arts - traditional martial arts with 18 different levels. Currently, the class is maintaining a stable schedule on Saturday and Sunday afternoons every week and will maintain it long term if students have the desire.

In addition to this free martial arts class, Le Thinh has also opened more martial arts classes in many communes such as Nam Anh, Nam Linh, Nam Thanh... and has received support from parents and students.
Sharing his passion for this martial arts class, this martial artist said: I have also asked permission from the Nam Dan District Cultural Office to continue opening similar free classes in other communes to create a healthy playground for the children. Coming to this martial arts class, the children not only learn martial arts and improve their health, but also have the opportunity to pursue their passion for this traditional martial art.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Ba, a parent whose child is taking a traditional martial arts class taught by Master Thinh, excitedly said: “This year, there is this martial arts class. I sent my child to study to improve his health and to be able to interact with more friends. My children also love learning martial arts, so I think this is an opportunity for them to pursue their passion.”
