Round 11 V.League: Former SLNA players wear Ho Chi Minh City Club jersey

Defender Nguyen Sy Nam

Because he could not compete for a position with his teammates at SLNA, in the second leg of the 2016 season, Nguyen Sy Nam decided to join the First Division team, Ho Chi Minh City Club, on loan.

Midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh

Midfielder Tran Phi Son

There are few players who are as beloved by SLNA fans as “Vietnam’s Ronaldo”. During his years at Vinh Stadium, Tran Phi Son was the idol of Nghe An football fans. The most impressive achievement of the midfielder born in 1992 was the National Cup championship in 2017. At that tournament, Tran Phi Son, along with Tran Nguyen Manh, Que Ngoc Hai, Ho Khac Ngoc, Phan Van Duc, Olaha… were the best players of SLNA.

Unfortunately, the end of the 2017 season is also the time when the contract between the Ha Tinh player and SLNA officially expires. With the aim of finding a new challenge, "Vietnam's Ronaldo" has decided to leave the Nghe An team to join the Ho Chi Minh City Club with a 3-year contract. According to Tran Phi Son's confirmation, this player will not recover from his injury in time to play in the match between Ho Chi Minh City Club and SLNA in round 11.
