Body recovered from female student suspected of jumping off bridge to commit suicide in Nam Dan.
(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly two hours of searching, authorities recovered the body of a female student suspected of jumping off the Nam Dan bridge (Nghe An province) to commit suicide.

Information from local residents.localAt approximately 7:30 AM on April 16th, passersby discovered an abandoned electric bicycle on the Nam Dan bridge (connecting Nam Dan town with Thuong Tan Loc commune). Suspecting something amiss, they reported it to the local authorities.
Based on footage from cameras near the bridge and location data from relatives confirming that someone had jumped off the bridge, rescue forces used canoes in coordination with several fishing boats to conduct search and rescue operations.Lam River, and at the same time cast their fishing lines below the Nam Dan bridge.

After nearly two hours of searching, at 11:00 AM the same day, the authorities discovered the body.victimApproximately 20 meters downstream from the Nam Dan bridge (right below the abandoned electric bicycle on the bridge, near the riverbank on the Thuong Tan Loc commune side).
The victim has been identified as Dinh Thi Tho, residing in Hamlet 1, Nam Nghia Commune, and currently a 10th-grade student at Sao Nam Private High School.
