VTV wins big at the 2025 Golden Kite Awards: No Time to Win Two Important Awards
Vietnam Television (VTV) affirmed its superior position with 17 awards and certificates of merit at the 2025 Golden Kite Awards, most notably the resounding victory of the television series "Space in Time".
The 2025 Golden Kite Awards ceremony officially took place in Hanoi on the evening of January 15th. This is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Film Association to honor the best authors, artists, and works of the year. At this year's awards, Vietnam Television (VTV) achieved resounding success with a total of 17 awards and certificates of merit in the categories of Television Drama, Documentary, and Scientific Film.
No Time to Dominate the Television Series Category
The highlight of the awards ceremony was the series "Space and Time," which was repeatedly nominated in the most important categories. This 60-episode series not only won the Golden Kite Award for Best Television Series but also brought home a series of individual awards for the production team, including Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.

In terms of acting, Nguyen Manh Truong excellently won the Best Actor award for his role as Lieutenant Colonel Dai. In addition, Pham Thi Bich Ngoc was also honored in the Best Supporting Actress category. The film was highly praised for its meaningful message about camaraderie and the sacrifices of soldiers throughout different periods.

A series of key projects confirms the quality of the content.
Besides "Space and Time," other VTV film projects also made a strong impression. The two films "There's You, My Love, Peaceful Place" and "Milk Flower in the Wind" both received the Silver Kite Award. Notably, Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy was honored as Best Actress for her role as Mrs. Truc in "Milk Flower in the Wind," while Meritorious Artist Tran Thai Son received the Best Supporting Actor award for his role as Cuong Ga in "There's You, My Love, Peaceful Place."

In addition, the crime drama project "Doc Dao" also received a Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee, demonstrating the diversity and appeal of the television series produced by VTV in the past year.
The Mark of Documentary and Science Films
In the Documentary and Science Film category, VTV continued to affirm its strength with profound social themes. The documentary "The Voice of Conscience" and the science film "Life in Con Dao National Park" both received the Silver Kite Award. Notably, directors Pham Thuy Linh and Meritorious Artist Vu Hoai Nam both won the Best Director award in their respective fields.
