Vietnam Television made its mark with first prize for the documentary 'The Battle of Will' and third prize for the art program 'Words Left Behind'.

Vietnam Television (VTV) has affirmed its position at the 11th National Award for External Information – 2025, with two works honored in important categories. This achievement recognizes the continuous efforts in promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.

First prize went to the documentary film 'The Battle of Wills'.

In the Television category, the documentary "The Battle of Will" excellently won First Prize. The work is the product of the team of authors Cao Thi Thanh Xuan, Le Hoang Linh, Pham Thuy Linh, Tran Anh Ngoc, Nguyen Hong Nhung and members of the Foreign Affairs Television Department.

Journalist Le Hoang Linh, representing the team behind the documentary film "The Battle of Will," was honored to receive the First Prize in the Television category.

Produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country, the film not only explores the reasons behind Vietnam's victory but also deeply reflects the contradictions in American society at that time through the story of Craig's family.

'The Words Left Behind' and the prestigious Third Prize.

Also produced by the Foreign Affairs Television Department, the political and artistic program "Words Left Behind by the Leader" was honored with the Third Prize. This program was a collaborative effort between the Central Propaganda Department and Vietnam Television.

The program made a strong impression by recreating precious archival images of President Ho Chi Minh, combining documentaries and emotionally rich artistic performances. The event, held at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of August 30th, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of his Last Will and Testament and the 55th anniversary of his death, left many poignant moments.
