Vietnam Television will broadcast live the important sessions of the 14th National Congress from January 20, 2026, and will also support the sharing of signals with the press nationwide.
The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is scheduled to take place from January 19th to January 25th, 2026 in Hanoi. To ensure effective communication and media coverage, Vietnam Television (VTV) has officially announced its plan for live broadcasting of the important sessions and provided guidance on the retransmission process for domestic media outlets.

Live broadcast schedule on VTV1 channel
Vietnam Television (VTV) will broadcast live the two most important sessions of the 14th National Congress on VTV1 channel. Specifically:

To disseminate information about the Congress, Vietnam Television (VTV) allowed television and online news outlets nationwide to retransmit the live broadcast signals of the sessions in their entirety.
For television channels
Units can receive program signals on VTV1 channel through the DVB-T2 terrestrial digital television system from local broadcasting stations or directly via satellite.
For online newspapers
Online news outlets are permitted to rebroadcast content on their official websites. However, to avoid unnecessary copyright disputes, these entities must provide their website addresses to the Center for Digital Content Production and Development (VTV Digital) for inclusion in the whitelist of authorized sites.

Vietnam Television (VTV) reminds all broadcasting units to strictly adhere to the following regulations to ensure the authenticity and credibility of the event:
- Absolutely do not broadcast on social media:Live broadcast signals from Vietnam Television are not permitted to be used for streaming on social media platforms.
- Principle of integrity:Broadcasting units must transmit the content intact, including the VTV1 logo; they are not allowed to cover up, replace the logo, or cut and paste in a way that distorts the original content.
- Control interaction:Online news outlets that repost content on their websites are responsible for strictly controlling comments, ensuring that no distorted or offensive content appears.
- Intellectual property issues:Vietnam Television (VTV) only grants free rights to program content produced by the station. For issues arising from third parties (music, supplementary visuals, etc.) on their own platforms, the broadcasting units are solely responsible for resolving them.
Vietnam Television (VTV) reserves the right to terminate the broadcasting rights of any unit that violates the above regulations or engages in activities that exploit the signal to affect the reputation of the station and the image of the Congress.
