Eight people trapped in quarry collapse: A horrific scene.

The search for victims buried under hundreds of rocks is still being carried out urgently.

On the evening of January 22nd, search and rescue forces in Thanh Hoa province found the body of Dinh Van Hoang, born in 1982, from Thiet Ong commune, Ba Thuoc district. He was one of the three victims buried in the rock quarry collapse in Yen Lam commune, Yen Dinh district.

Search and rescue efforts for the remaining victims are being actively carried out by the functional forces of Thanh Hoa province. Due to the relatively large volume of landslides, the Thanh Hoa provincial authorities have deployed hundreds of people to participate in the search and mobilized many large excavators, lighting equipment, and modern equipment to search throughout the night in order to quickly find the two remaining victims.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 AM on January 22nd at Hang Ca rocky mountain in Yen Lam commune, where Tuan Hung Enterprise was conducting mining operations. Eight people were injured or killed. Four have been confirmed dead, one sustained minor injuries, and three others remain missing due to being buried under rocks.

Eight victims were involved in the accident, including six from the same hometown in Thiet Ong commune (Ba Thuoc district - Thanh Hoa province).

Authorities are searching for the victim.

The identities of the victims have been confirmed: Pham Van Phi (born 1993), Dinh Van Hoang (born 1982), Truong Van Danh (born 1983), Le Van Quang (born 1981), Pham Van Truong (born 1988), Ha Van Duc (born 1979), all residing in Thiet Ong commune, Ba Thuoc district (Thanh Hoa province); Tran Van Nam (born 1963, residing in Yen Lam commune, Yen Dinh district); and Tran Nhu Dung (born 1961, manager of Tuan Hung Enterprise, suffered minor injuries).

Authorities are simultaneously searching for victims and cordoning off the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
