Just officially premiered, Ly Hai's 'Flip Side 7' has surpassed Thai Hoa's film

"Flip Side 7: A Wish" - a film directed by Ly Hai, was officially released on April 26, and immediately surpassed the 26 billion VND mark in revenue. Meanwhile, "The Price of Happiness" starring Thai Hoa, released from April 18 until now, has reached 21 billion VND in revenue.

Currently, "The Price of Happiness" has difficulty competing at the box office with "Flip Side 7", because the current screening times of the two films are quite different.

Of which, Ly Hai's film is scheduled for more than 4,100 screenings, while the film Thai Hoa plays the main role in has now reduced its screenings from 1,500 to 600.

Previously, the film "The Price of Happiness" was scheduled to be released at the same time as Ly Hai's "Flip Side 7". However, the film's crew decided to release the work a week earlier because they were afraid of competing directly with Ly Hai's film.

Regarding "Flip Side 7", the film has set a record for the highest pre-ordered tickets of all time at the Vietnamese box office.

At the premiere of "Flip Side 7: A Wish" on the evening of April 24, Ly Hai announced that the film, which has not yet been released, has set a record of the highest number of pre-ordered tickets in the first 6 days of all time with more than 105,000 tickets sold.

"The film's new record was set right before the first early screening, even though it was only on sale 6 days in advance. The number was created thanks to the love and trust of the audience. Ly Hai and the crew would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts," Ly Hai shared.

Previously in February, Tran Thanh's movie "Mai" set a record for the movie with the highest number of pre-ordered tickets, with more than 40,000 tickets sold before its release date.

In part 7 of the "Flip Side" film series, Ly Hai exploits the theme of family psychology instead of the familiar action theme of the "Flip Side" series. The film revolves around the life of Mrs. Hai (artist Thanh Hien), a single mother raising 5 children. When Mrs. Hai was old and weak and had an accident, her children all had their own families and lived far away, making it difficult for them to take care of their mother.

The actors participating in Lat mat 7 include: Artist Manh Dung, actors Thanh Hien, Quach Ngoc Tuyen, Truong Minh Cuong, Tiet Cuong, Tran Kim Hai, Thanh Thuc, child actress Ngan Chi... and many young faces of the entertainment industry.

Compared to previous films, Ly Hai and his wife Minh Ha invested heavily in many billion-dollar sets. The film was filmed in many locations, including many large sets in Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan.

"Flip Side 7: A Wish" was written, directed, produced, and edited by Ly Hai.
