"Face Off 7: One Wish," directed by Ly Hai, officially premiered on April 26th and immediately surpassed 26 billion VND in revenue. Meanwhile, "The Price of Happiness," starring Thai Hoa, has been showing since April 18th and has grossed 21 billion VND.

Currently, "The Price of Happiness" is struggling to compete with "Face Off 7" at the box office, due to the significant difference in screening times between the two films.

Of those, Ly Hai's film was scheduled for over 4,100 screenings, while Thai Hoa's film, in which he plays the lead, has seen its screenings reduced from 1,500 to just 600.

Previously, the film "The Price of Happiness" was scheduled to be released at the same time as Ly Hai's "Flip Face 7". However, the film's team decided to release the film a week earlier to avoid direct competition with Ly Hai's film.

Regarding "Face Off 7," the film currently holds the record for the highest number of advance ticket sales ever at the Vietnamese box office.

At the premiere of "Face Off 7: One Wish" on the evening of April 24th, Ly Hai announced that the film, even before its release, had already achieved the highest number of advance ticket sales in the first 6 days of all time, with over 105,000 tickets sold.

"The film's new record was achieved right before the first early screening, despite only going on sale six days prior. This number was created thanks to the love and trust of our viewers. Ly Hai and the team would like to express our heartfelt gratitude," Ly Hai shared.

Earlier in February, Tran Thanh's film "Mai" set a record for the highest number of advance ticket sales, with over 40,000 tickets sold before its release date.

In the seventh installment of the "Lật Mặt" (Face Off) film franchise, Lý Hải explores the psychological theme of family life instead of the familiar action genre of the franchise. The film revolves around the life of Mrs. Hai (actress Thanh Hiền), a single mother raising five children. When Mrs. Hai grows old and frail, and faces misfortune, her children all have their own families and live far away, making it difficult for them to care for their mother.

The cast of Lật Mặt 7 includes: Artist Mạnh Dung, actors Thanh Hiền, Quách Ngọc Tuyên, Trương Minh Cường, Tiết Cương, Trần Kim Hải, Thanh Thức, child actress Ngân Chi... along with many young faces from the entertainment industry.

Compared to previous installments, Ly Hai and his wife Minh Ha invested heavily in numerous high-end locations. Filming took place across many localities, including several large-scale settings in Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan provinces.

"Face Off 7: One Wish" was written, directed, screenwritten, produced, and edited by Ly Hai.

The film is rated K (audiences under 13 years old can still watch it under the supervision of a parent or guardian).
