While riding his motorbike and talking on the phone, the man fell onto the road when a car suddenly opened its door.
A dangerous traffic incident occurred on the morning of December 14th on Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Thanh Vinh Ward (Nghe An province), startling many witnesses. Although it did not cause serious consequences, the incident serves as a warning about the risk of accidents when road users lack concentration.
Footage from a dashcam shows a 7-seater car stopping at the side of the road. As the driver opens the door to get out, a motorbike traveling in the same direction approaches. The motorcyclist, while talking on the phone, fails to observe his surroundings and swerves, colliding with the opening car door and causing the motorbike to fall onto the road.
Even more dangerously, at that very moment, a pickup truck was driving right next to them. Fortunately, the vehicle did not hit the motorcyclist; otherwise, the consequences could have been very serious.
Although the incident did not cause any injuries, it still represents a potentially risky situation, highlighting the lack of concentration among road users while operating vehicles. In fact, similar incidents have occurred in Nghe An province, some resulting in tragic consequences.
This incident highlights the need for increased awareness among road users regarding traffic safety regulations. Motorcyclists should concentrate on observing their surroundings and absolutely refrain from using mobile phones while driving; those in cars should also carefully check the front, rear, and rearview mirrors before opening doors to ensure their own safety and the safety of other vehicles.
