(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 31st, the semi-final matches of the 2018 National Children's Football Tournament took place at the Thai Binh Provincial Gymnasium. Notably, U11 SLNA faced U11 Dak Lak in the first semi-final match.
In the quarter-final match, U11 SLNA had little difficulty winning 3-0 against U11 Phu Dong Hanoi with a hat-trick from player Le Nhat Anh. As a result, U11 SLNA advanced to the semi-finals of the 2018 National U11 Championship to face U11 Dak Lak.
Vuong Van Tung is the champion and top scorer of the 2018 Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament with 11 goals while playing for Yen Thanh Youth Team.
In the semi-finals, against a supposedly weaker opponent, U11 SLNA continued to demonstrate their superior strength with a leading goal scored by Vuong Van Tung in the first half.
After the break, U11 SLNA continued to dominate the game and created numerous scoring opportunities. However, on a day when the Dak Lak goalkeeper played exceptionally well, it wasn't until a corner kick that Vuong Van Tung scored the second goal for U11 SLNA with a close-range header.

With effective attacking play and disciplined, well-organized defensive tactics, Vuong Van Tung scored another goal to complete his hat-trick, sealing a 3-0 victory for U11 SLNA. This win propelled U11 SLNA into the final.
Coach Le Van Hung's team will face U11 Hung Yen in the championship match. The final will take place at 3:00 PM tomorrow (August 1st) and will be broadcast live on VTV6.
