V-League top scorer successfully naturalized, ready to participate in AFF Cup
Nam Dinh striker Rafaelson is the top scorer with the best total goals and scoring efficiency in V-League history. In the 2023/2024 season, he scored 31 goals after 25 appearances.
Rafaelson has completed the procedure to obtain Vietnamese citizenship. This makes him eligible to participate in the AFF Cup 2024 later this year. This will be a quality addition to coach Kim Sang Sik's attack.
In the past, Rafaelson has repeatedly expressed his desire to play for the Vietnamese national team. He is considered one of the best foreign players in the V-League.
