V-League top scorer successfully obtains Vietnamese citizenship, ready to participate in the AFF Cup.
Nam Dinh striker Rafaelson is the top scorer with the best total number of goals and scoring efficiency in V-League history. In the 2023/2024 season, he scored 31 goals in 25 appearances.
Rafaelson has completed the process of obtaining Vietnamese citizenship. This makes him eligible to participate in the AFF Cup 2024 later this year. This will be a quality addition to coach Kim Sang Sik's attacking line.
In the past, Rafaelson has repeatedly expressed his desire to play for the Vietnamese national team. He is considered one of the best foreign players in the V-League.
