Mid-Autumn Festival in many localities in the province

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 13, many localities across the province organized the "Full Moon Festival" program and gave gifts to support students going to school in 2016.

* In Tam Son commune (Anh Son),Anh Son District People's Committee organized the program "Full Moon Festival", attracting a large number of children and parents in Tam Son commune and neighboring communes to participate.

At the festival, the children heard the legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival, watched lion dances, enjoyed special performances, carried lanterns, and enjoyed the feast together.

Despite the heavy rain, many children and parents came to participate in the 'Full Moon Festival'.

On this occasion, the People's Committee and the Children's Support Fund of Anh Son district presented 25 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to children in especially difficult circumstances in Tam Son, Thanh Son, Dinh Son and Cam Son communes, with a total value of 12,500,000 VND.

Also at the festival, the Standing Committee of Anh Son District Youth Union presented 5 gifts to children in special circumstances in Tam Son commune, each worth 250,000 VND.

Leaders of Anh Son district gave gifts to disadvantaged children of 3 communes: Tam Son, Thanh Son, Dinh Son and Cam Son.

The 2016 “Full Moon Festival” helps children celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival more fully and meaningfully, and is also a gift to encourage and motivate them to make efforts in studying and practicing, and to do many good deeds that are useful to society.

* "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival with children in the highlands" is the theme of the festival organized by the People's Committee of Ky Son district in Muong Long commune.

With the goal of bringing children in remote areas a happy Mid-Autumn Festival filled with love, at the festival, in addition to organizing folk games, the People's Committee of Ky Son district presented 30 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties in the area.

Many children in Muong Long commune eagerly participated in the festival.

This is an annual activity of departments, branches and organizations in Ky Son district, contributing practically to the work of "Protecting, caring for and educating children", especially young children in areas with many economic and social difficulties in the district.
