(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 13th, many localities throughout the province organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program and presented gifts to support students going to school in 2016.

* In Tam Son commune (Anh Son district),The People's Committee of Anh Son district organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program, attracting a large number of children and parents from Tam Son commune and neighboring communes to participate.

At the festival, the children listened to the legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival, watched lion dances, enjoyed special cultural performances, and participated in lantern parades and shared festive treats.

Despite the heavy rain, a large number of children, teenagers, and parents came to participate in the 'Mid-Autumn Festival Night'.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Anh Son District and the Anh Son District Children's Protection Fund presented 25 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to children in extremely difficult circumstances in the communes of Tam Son, Thanh Son, Dinh Son, and Cam Son, with a total value of 12,500,000 VND.

Also at the event, the Standing Committee of the Anh Son District Youth Union presented 5 gifts to children with special circumstances in Tam Son commune, each worth 250,000 VND.

Leaders of Anh Son district presented gifts to underprivileged children in the three communes of Tam Son, Thanh Son, Dinh Son, and Cam Son.

The "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" in 2016 contributed to helping children celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival more fully and meaningfully, while also serving as a gift to encourage and motivate them to strive in their studies and training, and to do many good deeds that benefit society.

* "Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with children in the highlands" was the theme of the festival organized by the People's Committee of Ky Son district in Muong Long commune.

With the aim of bringing a joyful and loving Mid-Autumn Festival to children in remote areas, at the festival, in addition to organizing folk games, the People's Committee of Ky Son district awarded 30 gifts to underprivileged students in the area.

A large number of children in Muong Long commune eagerly participated in the festival.

This is an annual activity of departments, agencies, and organizations in Ky Son district, making a practical contribution to the work of "Protecting, caring for, and educating children," especially young children in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions in the district.
