In the highlands of Nghe An province, people are rushing to harvest the summer-autumn rice crop.

Due to the late summer-autumn crop season, the harvest is just beginning in the highlands of Tuong Duong at this time. Fearing storms and heavy rain, the villagers are speeding up the harvesting process while the sun is still shining.

Ms. Lo Thi Tam, from Quang Phuc village, Tam Dinh commune, said: “Last year, the unusual rain caught us off guard, causing many areas of unharvested rice to sprout. Learning from that experience, this time, with the sun shining, we are urgently harvesting.
