Is WikiLeaks about to release classified documents that could be damaging to Hillary Clinton?

According to Reuters, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said on October 4 that the website would release approximately 1 million documents related to three US administrations and elections before the end of this year.

Assange has denied claims that the release of documents related to the US election was intended to harm Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The WikiLeaks founder said he was misquoted on that point.

In addition, Assange also alluded to how the WikiLeaks website is organized and funded.

According to Assange, the group will soon open its doors to those wishing to become members. He said the group hopes to expand its operations beyond the 100 media outlets it currently collaborates with.
