Tri Le border commune conducts election campaign in the Hmong language.

(Baonghean.vn) - In Tri Le commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An province), eight Mong villages held early elections two days ahead of schedule. Essential preparations for election day were basically completed.

The commune's election committee established 5 polling stations to serve 1,038 voters, including: Muong Long; Nam Tot; Xai 1, Xai 2; Huoi Moi 1, Huoi Moi 2, Pa Khom and Pieng Luong. Officials were assigned to strengthen the work in the villages to disseminate information and encourage voters to participate in the election.

The commune has established four subcommittees, including: a committee for ensuring social security and order; a propaganda committee; a committee for resolving complaints and denunciations; and an assistant committee for compilation.

In addition, thorough preparations were made for posting voter and candidate lists at polling stations and residential areas, displaying propaganda and promotional banners, and preparing ballot boxes and voter cards.

Ms. Gia Thi Nhia from Huoi Moi 2 village said: "This is the second time I've participated in voting, so I understand my responsibility. Even though I have to work far away in the fields, I and everyone in the village will return on election day to cast our votes."

Mr. Vi Van Cuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Le commune, said that as a particularly disadvantaged commune with a large area and complex terrain fragmented by rivers and streams, in addition to strengthening information and propaganda work, the commune has focused on repairing roads and bridges over rivers and streams to create convenient conditions for people to travel when participating in voting.

Anh Va Ba De - Secretary of the Party branch of Huoi Moi 2 village, said: To promote the election day, the village management board regularly broadcasts announcements through the loudspeaker. The content of the announcements is translated into both Vietnamese and Hmong so that people can easily understand and absorb it. In addition, to ensure 100% voter participation, the village management board has communicated with the heads of the clans to disseminate information about the election and is responsible for mobilizing people of voting age to be present in the village to cast their votes.
