Mr. Tran Ba Toan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Thanh commune proudly said: The locality always has 1,800 children working abroad, mainly in European countries. Every year, local people send back about 200 billion VND. Thanks to that source of money, people invest in building high-rise buildings and garden houses spread throughout all hamlets, not concentrated along Provincial Road 534 running through the commune. Statistics show that the whole commune has 1,700 houses, of which 45% are high-rise buildings, 30% are garden houses, each house is worth billions. Therefore, not only the commune center but also high-rise buildings and garden houses are growing close together at the foot of the hill, as the locality expands the residential area.
