The new rural construction program has brought Nghia Tien a new look. Cultural houses in hamlets have been renovated and upgraded; roads have been straightened and expanded; thanks to the town's production support policies, Nghia Tien people have gradually improved their home gardens, planted and raised valuable plants and animals, and their income and living standards have been increasingly improved.

Party Secretary of Nghia Tien Commune, Vu Duc Tai said: The commune has built a plan to reach the new rural target by the end of 2016. However, the Party Committee of the commune is determined to reach the new rural target by the end of 2015.

Accordingly, along with mobilizing people to promote production movements and improve living standards, the commune focused on renovating the traffic system, irrigation systems and cultural houses in the hamlet according to new criteria. With the timely support of the town, Nghia Tien implemented traffic, irrigation systems, cultural houses, schools... The whole commune simultaneously launched the New Rural Development campaign, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere.

Along with completing the criteria on technical infrastructure, the commune promotes all resources to support production development. In addition to the town's policy of supporting trees and seedlings, local businesses support job creation for poor households...

Hamlet 4 has 98% of Tho ethnic households, but has effectively mobilized people's contributions to build rural roads. Within 3 months, the people of Hamlet 4 built 2 km of concrete road with an amount of over 200 million VND (on average, each person contributed 230,000 VND, in which the household with the highest contribution was 2.3 million VND). Hamlet 4's head, Ho Van Le, said: "The consensus and support of the people is an important factor for the hamlet to complete the goal of village roads and alleys. It is thanks to the efforts of Hamlet 4 that it has contributed to encouraging and motivating the whole commune to compete to reach the NTM finish line."

Implementing the NTM program, Nghia Tien mobilized nearly 120 billion VND to implement the criteria, of which the budget at all levels was over 60 billion VND, the people contributed nearly 40 billion VND, the rest came from other mobilized sources. In particular, the commune has invested nearly 28.2 billion VND to asphalt and concrete nearly 100% of village roads and alleys with 29.3/29.3 km of commune roads and village axes; hardened 7.6 km of alley roads. To proactively irrigate production, the commune has invested more than 18.6 billion VND to upgrade the irrigation system; the commune kindergarten cluster over 8 billion VND...
