Quan Thanh commune launches the "An Tinh Ru Gam" folk song club.
On the evening of April 28th, at the Gám pagoda grounds in Quan Thành commune, the launching ceremony of the "An Tinh Ru Gam" folk song club was held, attracting a large number of local people.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to establish the "An Tinh Ru Gam" Folk Song Club. The club currently has 50 members, with a seven-member Executive Board, which forms the core force, bringing together many talented artists at the grassroots level. It operates on the principles of voluntarism and self-governance, under the guidance of the local Party committee and government.
In her speech assigning the task, Ms. Dang Thi Dung, Chairwoman of the Quan Thanh Commune People's Committee, emphasized that the establishment of the club is of great importance in preserving and promoting the national cultural identity. The folk songs of the Ví and Giặm genres are not only unique traditional art forms but also a connecting thread within the community, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people.

The commune leaders requested the Club's Management Board to maintain regular activities, develop appropriate activity programs, focus on collecting and preserving ancient melodies associated with creating new lyrics; strengthen the teaching of these melodies to the younger generation and actively participate in local cultural and social activities. Members should uphold a sense of responsibility, spread the value of the Ví and Giặm folk songs, contribute to fostering love for their homeland, and strengthen community solidarity.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, the club performed many outstanding acts deeply rooted in the cultural identity of Nghe An province, such as "The Affection of Ru Gam", "Returning to the Land of Folk Songs", "The Lam River, Mother's Love", "Revisiting Lang Sen Village"... The performances were elaborately staged, creating an emotionally rich folk music atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
