Shooting in Mississippi leaves 6 dead.
Local officials confirmed that one suspect was arrested on January 10th after six people were killed in a series of related shootings in eastern Mississippi.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott posted on Facebook that “many innocent lives” had been lost “due to violence” in the town of West Point, near the Alabama border. According to the post, six people were killed at three different locations.
Mr. Scott confirmed that one suspect has been apprehended and there is no longer any threat to the community. Law enforcement is actively investigating and will provide an update as soon as possible.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office is not currently providing further details regarding the shootings, but is expected to hold a press conference on the morning of January 11 (local time).
