(Baonghean) - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan An Commune (Tan Ky) - Comrade Cao Tien Thin, excitedly said: During the past term, Tan An Commune achieved many important results in many fields. The total annual production value increased by 14.5%, exceeding the target set by the congress. The average production value per capita by 2015 is estimated at 32.3 million VND, 2.2 times higher than at the beginning of the term. The material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved; culture and education have developed increasingly; the poverty rate has decreased from 7.48% in 2010 to only 3.8% now. Democracy within the Party and among the people has been promoted; national defense and security have been ensured. Up to now, the commune has completed 13/19 criteria for new rural construction. The Party Committee has been ranked as a typical strong rural area by the District Party Committee for 4/5 consecutive years, including 3 consecutive years of being a typical strong rural area.
