"We set a new world record by hitting a target from a distance of 4,210 meters. I fired the shot with the help of ballistic correction specialists," sniper Andrei Ryabinsky said in early October. The Russian sniper used an SVLK-14 "Sumrak" rifle and .408 CheyTac (10.36x77 mm) ammunition to make the shot, Sputnik reported today.
