(Baonghean.vn) - In Phuc Son commune, a mountainous area in Anh Son district, there have been two cases of women giving birth to triplets in the past three years. These are rare cases, as the women had all given birth naturally.

On January 8, 2013, Anh Son District General Hospital admitted Ms. Pham Thi Dung from Hamlet 2 (Phuc Son Commune). An ultrasound revealed that Ms. Dung was pregnant with triplets. After a consultation, the hospital decided to allow her to give birth naturally. As a result, three healthy baby boys were born. The first, Nguyen Huu Dao, weighed 2.2 kg; the second, Nguyen Huu Duc, weighed 2.4 kg; and the third, Nguyen Huu Do, weighed 2.2 kg.

The three children, Nguyen Huu Dao, Nguyen Huu Duc, and Nguyen Huu Do, are the sons of Ms. Pham Thi Dung.

Currently, all three children, Dao, Duc, and Do, are attending kindergarten and developing healthily. It is known that the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh (45 years old) and Ms. Pham Thi Dung (41 years old) is a poor household in Phuc Son commune. Ms. Dung works in the fields to support her children, while Mr. Vinh occasionally works as a construction laborer to earn extra income. However, since the beginning of 2016, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh has suffered from herniated discs and spinal calcification, making life increasingly difficult.

Mr. Vinh said: "Now, the family's income depends entirely on my wife and eldest daughter, who is working as a hired laborer in Vinh, so life is very difficult. The children are at a crucial age for development and are well-behaved, but my wife and I are often overwhelmed and unable to provide enough for them. It's heartbreaking to think about how much we pity them."

Also at Anh Son District General Hospital, at 4:00 AM on April 30, 2016, the hospital admitted a woman from Phuc Son commune who gave birth naturally to triplets (baby girls).

Accordingly, at 11 PM on April 29th, pregnant woman Le Thi Thuy Hang (from Hamlet 12) showed symptoms of labor, so her family took her to the district general hospital to give birth. Around 4 AM, Ms. Hang gave birth to three baby girls.

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, a specialist in obstetrics at the hospital, the first two girls were born in the correct position, so delivery was normal. However, the third girl was born in a breech position (feet first), making delivery more difficult. The first girl weighed 2.1 kg, while the two girls weighed 2.0 kg each. All the babies are healthy.

Mr. Dang Dinh Chung (32 years old) and Ms. Le Thi Thuy Hang (25 years old) have been married for over 5 years, and this is Ms. Hang's second pregnancy. The couple said that when they went for an ultrasound and the doctor told them she was carrying triplets, the whole family was overjoyed. However, when their daughters, Dang Thi Thuy Duong, Dang Thi Thuy Chi, and Dang Thi Thuy Nhi, were 4 months old, they contracted pneumonia. Despite the family spending a lot of money on treatment at a hospital in Vinh, their eldest daughter, Dang Thi Thuy Duong, did not survive.

Currently, both Thuy Chi and Thuy Nhi are developing well and have learned to crawl. Mr. Chung and Ms. Hang's family are both poor households, their lives mainly depending on a few acres of rice fields. Ms. Hang said that since giving birth to the three children, she hasn't had time to work, constantly looking after all three children at once, so all the family's income depends on her husband.

Thus, it can be seen that these are all special cases of triplets born in Phuc Son commune, a mountainous area. These families are all facing financial difficulties; however, being parents to three children at once is a great source of happiness for them.
