Identify 5 people who beat up a jealous woman and stripped her clothes in the middle of the street

On the afternoon of September 3, a clip appeared on Facebook showing a group of people beating, cutting hair, and stripping a young girl in the middle of the street. The incident is said to have occurred in Ba Hien commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province.

The clip, which is more than a minute long, shows three women, one young man, and one old woman grabbing the young girl’s arms and legs, beating her, and using scissors to cut off her hair. Not stopping there, the group also stripped off most of the victim’s clothes.

Many people stood outside watching the incident but no one intervened. Some even used their phones to record the clip.

Regarding the above incident, on the morning of September 4, Mr. Nguyen Minh Thiet, head of Ba Hien Commune Police, said that after receiving the information, the commune police intervened to verify and handle the case, the cause of the incident was jealousy.

According to the commune police chief, the young woman who was assaulted by the group in the clip is named K (22 years old, from Yen Bai, married with two children), currently working as a worker, renting a room in Ba Hien commune. During her time renting a room here, K had an illicit relationship with a young man named N (23 years old, residing in Binh Xuyen district, married).

“This relationship was discovered and followed by N’s wife, and on the morning of September 3, they caught her red-handed. At this time, N’s wife called relatives to cut her hair, strip her naked, and assault K as shown in the posted clip,” said the commune police chief.

The case has been handed over by Ba Hien commune police to Binh Xuyen district police for settlement.
