The founding date of Bach Lieu Junior High School is determined to be August 20, 1991.

Comrade Hoang Danh Truyen - Vice Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee - chaired the meeting. Also participating were representatives from the Yen Thanh District Department of Education and Training, Comrade Pham Van Su - former Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee, and former principals and the current management board of Bach Lieu Secondary School.

At the workshop, Mr. Hoang Danh Truyen, Vice Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee, stated: The founding day of the school is of great significance. It is a traditional day to annually recall, remember, commend, and honor the contributions of generations of teachers throughout the years. Accurately determining the founding date of the school ensures legal compliance, allows for unified management of school records and documents, and fosters consensus among staff, teachers, and employees.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates, reviewing the documents, materials, and decisions on the establishment of the school, and Government Decree No. 111/2018/NQ-CP dated August 31, 2018, on "Regulations on the establishment date, traditional date, and commemorative date of ministries, sectors, and localities," Mr. Hoang Danh Truyen - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh District - concluded the workshop. He affirmed: The establishmentBach Lieu Secondary SchoolThroughout the school's founding anniversaries, such as the 5th, 10th, 20th, and 25th anniversaries, the founding date has consistently been set as August 20, 1991, with the unanimous agreement of the Standing Committee of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee. Therefore, August 20, 1991, is established as the founding date of Bach Lieu Secondary School.

Regarding the decision to establish the Gifted Primary and Secondary School on September 16, 1979, located in Hoa Thanh commune, upon review, there was no transfer of the teaching staff or students to the new unit.

If further evidence and documents emerge in the future to prove that the two units share the same location, the district will conduct research and consider them before submitting them to the Standing Committee of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee for review.
