According to images and clips circulating online on October 15, the incident is said to have occurred at the The Gioi Di Dong Yen Bai store. A customer, after buying a brand new iPhone 6S Plus, worth more than 20 million VND here, was shocked to discover that inside was just stone right after opening the box.

Immediately after that, the staff at The Gioi Di Dong Yen Bai exchanged the customer for a second rose gold iPhone 6S Plus, however, inside were two stones inserted with accessories.
