Gasoline price reduced for the second consecutive time from this afternoon, February 29
From 3:00 p.m. on February 29, the price of E5RON92 gasoline was adjusted down by 157 VND/liter, while RON 95 gasoline decreased by 253 VND/liter.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance has just issued a document on adjusting retail prices of petroleum products.
Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. today (February 29), the price of E5RON92 gasoline was adjusted down by 157 VND/liter; and RON 95 gasoline was reduced by 253 VND/liter.
Diesel oil decreased by 390 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 278 VND/liter. Only fuel oil was adjusted up by 102 VND/kg.

Thus, after the adjustment, the price of E5RON92 gasoline is no higher than 18,346 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline is 19,127 VND/liter; diesel is 14,785 VND/liter; kerosene is 13,676 VND/liter; and fuel oil is 11,754 VND/kg.
Data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade up to this point shows that in the past 15 days, the average price of finished gasoline in the Singapore market in this cycle has tended to increase slightly compared to the average price of the previous 15 days.
Accordingly, the average price of finished gasoline in the Singapore market in this cycle is 63.4 USD/barrel of RON 92; down 0.4% compared to the previous cycle. Meanwhile, RON 95 gasoline is priced at 65.45 USD/barrel; down 0.7% compared to the previous cycle.
Meanwhile, world oil prices are on a sharp decline as the world records the increasingly widespread and complicated Covid-19 pandemic.
In the most recent adjustment of gasoline prices, on February 14, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to sharply reduce the prices of gasoline products. Accordingly, the domestic retail price of gasoline is at its lowest level in the past year.
Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 765 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 742 VND/liter. Diesel oil decreased by 961 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 1,108 VND/liter; and fuel oil decreased by 792 VND/kg.
After adjustment, the selling price of E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than 18,503 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline is not higher than 19,380 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S is not higher than 15,175 VND/liter; Kerosene is not higher than 13,954 VND/liter; Mazut 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 11,652 VND/kg.
