Building a house of gratitude for former Navy commandos
(Baonghean.vn)-On March 4, the Liaison Committee of the 126th Naval Special Forces Brigade in the Nghe-Tinh region and the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward (Vinh City) held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a house of gratitude for war invalid Phung Ba Dien.
During the war against America, Mr. Phung Ba Dien was a soldier of the 126th Naval Special Forces Brigade, present in the Sac Forest Special Forces Group fighting in the Southeast region, fought bravely and achieved many feats, and was a 4/4 disabled veteran.
Currently, he and his family live in Block 11, Cua Nam Ward (Vinh City), facing many difficulties and often sick. The Navy Command has assigned the 131st Engineering Brigade to mobilize officers and soldiers to support 70 million VND to build a house of gratitude for veteran Phung Ba Dien, transferred to the 126th Brigade Liaison Committee to present and conduct the groundbreaking ceremony.
