Building 'comrade houses' for soldiers in difficult circumstances.
On April 22nd, My Ly Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Training and Mobile Battalion of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a "comrade's house" in 2025 for Major Dau Quang Long, a professional military officer and armed forces personnel at My Ly Border Guard Station.
Soldier Dau Quang Long comes from a disadvantaged family (his father is a war invalid, his mother has cancer, and his wife does not have a stable job...), so his family has not been able to build a solid house to live in. The "comrade's house," which is being built in residential area 2, Kim Nhan town, Anh Son district, has an area of approximately 75 square meters.2Ensuring sufficient supply for the family's long-term needs.
The house was built with a financial contribution of 60 million VND from the Ministry of National Defense; in addition, there were contributions of building materials and labor from relatives, neighbors of Comrade Dau Quang Long's family, and officers and soldiers of My Ly Border Guard Post, Training and Mobile Battalion (where Comrade Long is currently assigned to perform his duties). The house is expected to be completed after 3 months of construction.
The house, once built and completed, will provide the family of soldier Dau Quang Long with a stable place to live, allowing them to focus on their work and successfully fulfill their assigned duties.
