During the inspection, authorities discovered six styrofoam boxes containing animal organs and feet (from dairy cows) of unknown origin (weighing approximately over 420kg) that emitted a foul odor. The driver, Bui Duc Binh (born in 1983), residing in Block 4, Dien Chau town, confessed that the goods were loaded onto the vehicle near Cau Loi bridge, Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, and would be received by someone in 3/2 town, Quy Hop district. Because the styrofoam boxes were carefully wrapped and sealed, both the driver and the assistant driver thought they were boxes of fruit, as the sender had claimed.
