(Baonghean.vn) - While descending the Truong Ven slope, the bus encountered a slippery road covered in oil, causing it to lose control and veer off the road. The accident caused panic among many passengers.

The accident occurred at approximately 3 PM on May 18th on National Highway 48, in the Quỳnh Tam commune, Quỳnh Lưu district, Nghệ An province. At that time, the Thạch Thành bus with license plate 37B - 016.50, driven by Chiến, was traveling from Nghĩa Đàn district towards Vinh City.

While descending the Truong Ven slope, the bus encountered a slippery road covered in oil, causing it to lose control. After a long stretch of hundreds of meters on the slippery surface, the driver attempted to steer the vehicle, but it subsequently veered off the road.

At the scene, the front of the vehicle, which had plunged straight into the ravine, was severely damaged. At the time of the accident, there were five people in the vehicle: the driver, two assistants, and two passengers; fortunately, no one was injured, but the passengers had a terrifying experience.

Upon receiving the report, the Quỳnh Lưu District Police arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
