A vehicle carrying workers was involved in an accident in Tan Ky; 24 people were hospitalized.
(Baonghean.vn) - While transporting garment factory workers to work, a passenger bus collided with a tractor-trailer.
At 6:30 AM on October 6th, a traffic accident occurred at the Tan Dong - Tan Phu intersection in Tan Ky district. A passenger bus with license plate 37F-002.06, carrying workers from Minh Anh Garment Factory (traveling from Quy Hop towards Tan Ky), collided with a tractor-trailer with license plate 37R-03876 traveling in the opposite direction.

Reportedly, there were approximately 27 workers on board the vehicle when the accident occurred.

According to initial reports, the strong impact injured several workers sitting on the right side of the bus. All victims were taken to the Northwest Regional General Hospital in Nghe An for examination and emergency treatment.

According to information from the Northwest Nghe An Regional General Hospital, the hospital has received 24 victims of traffic accidents. Of these, 23 are female and 1 is male.

The hospital mobilized its full medical staff to provide emergency care to the victims. According to the doctors' diagnoses, 15 victims suffered soft tissue injuries, 2 had broken ribs, 5 had broken pelvises, 1 had a ruptured bladder, and 1 had a dislocated acromioclavicular joint. Three victims with serious injuries were transferred to a higher-level hospital for emergency treatment.
