Container truck 'demolished' median

(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling at high speed on the road, a container truck suddenly crashed straight into the median strip on National Highway 1A, passing through Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu).

At around midnight on August 31, a container truck pulling a trailer with license plate 43R-014.82 was traveling from Hanoi to Nghe An. When it reached block 6, Cau Giat town, it suddenly crashed head-on into the median strip of National Highway 1A.

The strong collision caused large chunks of concrete to fly off the median, falling nearly 20 meters onto the road; many signs and posters were broken. The tractor was severely damaged.

Fortunately, the incident happened late at night, with little traffic, so it did not cause an accident for other vehicles. The driver was fortunately uninjured.

After the accident occurred, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police quickly arrived at the scene to make a record and handle the incident.
