According to point e, clause 3, Article 7 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, a fine of VND 600,000 to VND 800,000 shall be imposed on drivers who commit the following act:
A person driving a vehicle or carrying passengers who is carrying bulky objects.
In cases where a driver or passenger carrying bulky objects causes a traffic accident, the fine will range from 10,000,000 VND to 14,000,000 VND.
Therefore, according to the above regulations, drivers who carry oversized cargo will be fined from 600,000 VND to 800,000 VND, and if the oversized cargo causes an accident, the fine will be from 10,000,000 VND to 14,000,000 VND.
