Motorcycle crashes into woman walking in the opposite direction, sending her flying 5 meters away.

(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 9 PM on July 12th, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 38B in Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district, when a motorbike struck a pedestrian, leaving one person in critical condition.

According to initial information, at the time of the incident, a young man was driving a motorcycle with license plate 37L1 - 333.57 from Son Hai commune towards National Highway 1A. While passing through Hamlet 13 of Son Hai commune, due to high speed, the motorcycle collided with a woman (approximately 60 years old) walking in the opposite direction.

The powerful collision sent the woman flying 5 meters down the road. Both the motorcyclist and the woman were critically injured and were immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance called by bystanders.

The cause of the incident is currently being investigated by the police.
